How It Works

Each coin's value is calculated as: Coin Value = Amount Held × Current Price. The three coin values are then summed for the total portfolio value. As a worked example: 0.1 BTC × $65,000 = $6,500; 2 ETH × $3,500 = $7,000; 100 SOL × $150 = $15,000. Total portfolio = $6,500 + $7,000 + $15,000 = $28,500. To calculate a coin's percentage allocation, divide its value by the total portfolio value — in this example, SOL represents $15,000 ÷ $28,500 = 52.6% of the portfolio. If you only hold one or two coins, leave the unused coin fields at 0.

Examples

BTC + ETH + SOL
0.1 BTC at $65,000, 2 ETH at $3,500, and 100 SOL at $150.
Result: Total: $6,500 + $7,000 + $15,000 = $28,500.
Altcoin Heavy Portfolio
0.05 BTC at $65,000, 1 ETH at $3,500, 500 ADA at $0.45.
Result: Total: $3,250 + $3,500 + $225 = $6,975.
ETH-Dominated Portfolio
0.5 ETH at $3,500, 1,000 MATIC at $0.80, 50 SOL at $150.
Result: Total: $1,750 + $800 + $7,500 = $10,050.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add more than 3 coins?
This calculator supports up to 3 coins simultaneously. For full portfolio tracking across many assets with automated price feeds and historical performance, dedicated apps like CoinStats, Delta, CoinGecko Portfolio, or your exchange's built-in portfolio tracker are more suitable. For a 4+ coin manual calculation, you can run this calculator multiple times and sum the results.
Should I include staked crypto?
Yes — include the current market value of staked coins plus any accrued rewards that have been issued but not yet sold or compounded. Staked coins still have market value even if temporarily illiquid, and including them gives a complete picture of your total crypto net worth. For coins with unbonding periods, the staked amount is real value even if you cannot access it immediately.
How do I find current prices?
Check CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, or your exchange app for live prices. For tax or record-keeping purposes, use the price at a specific timestamp rather than a live price — CoinGecko historical data and most exchanges provide end-of-day prices for past dates.
